Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arild Moen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Piercer!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piercer looks to land a right hand but Moen moved out of range.
Piercer scores with a shot to the body.
Piercer ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A swing and a miss from Piercer.
Moen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Piercer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Piercer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Piercer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Moen ducks under a wild hook from Piercer.
Moen moves away from the strike by Piercer.
Moen walks into a jab.
Moen connects with a body shot that sends Piercer's belly button to the back.
Piercer blocks a jab.
Moen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Piercer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Moen appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Moen. Piercer does a little dance to reset his feet.

Moen moves into range and clinches up with Piercer.

We've been hearing reports that Moen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Piercer lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Piercer tries to work over Moen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Moen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Piercer is leaning against Moen and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Piercer doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Moen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Piercer just stands there and leans against the cage.

Moen is looking to control Piercer's arms but Piercer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Moen has his back to the cage.

Piercer throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Moens head.
Oh Moen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Piercer stalls.
Moen seems to have got his legs back now.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Moen is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Piercer to keep the fight standing.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Moen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Piercer as he avoids it easily.
Piercer is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Piercer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moen.
Piercer blocks a jab.
Moen walks straight into a right hand from Piercer - that's dropped him! Piercer jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Moen from any more punishment! Moen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). John Piercer!
John Piercer decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
