Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Evan Duvernay (ranked 87 p4p, 58 weight class) and Hoodoo Brown (ranked 8 p4p, 4 weight class). Duvernay's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Le Vent Nous Portera. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Hoodoo Brown!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Brown.
Duvernay dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brown has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brown blocks a jab.
Duvernay scores with a hook to the body. Brown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Duvernay walks into a jab.
Duvernay throws a jab but it's blocked by Brown.
Duvernay connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Duvernay throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Duvernay has been working on his boxing with his coaches at SYDNEY ELITE GYM in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Duvernay darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Duvernay throws a nice outside leg kick.
Duvernay throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.
And Brown tries to counter it with a takedown but Duvernay pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Duvernay staying out of range there.
The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Duvernay looks to throw the jab but Brown is out of range.
Duvernay connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duvernay throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Brown avoids the body shot from Duvernay.
And Brown tries to counter it with a takedown but Duvernay pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duvernay works over Brown's head and body with a nice combination.
Nice defenses there by Brown.
Brown lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Duvernay throws the kick towards the body but Brown avoids it.
Brown scores with a hook to the body. Duvernay takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That kick from Duvernay tenderised Brown's leg. Brown is trying to keep his angry face on.
Duvernay thumps Brown with a low kick.
Brown looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Duvernay on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Duvernay has one foot on Brown's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brown showed some decent athleticism there.
Duvernay wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brown lands with a punch from half guard.
Duvernay is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Brown has latched onto it... Big trouble! Brown pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Duvernay is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Brown!

During a confident post fight interview, Hoodoo Brown thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
