Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aleksi Heimo (ranked 2865 p4p, 2653 weight class) and Leo Vuce (ranked 156 p4p, 143 weight class). Vuce has chosen MC Yankoo as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 30 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksi Heimo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Vuce!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heimo throws a lazy right hand but Vuce sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Heimo with a jab.
Heimo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vuce shoots in for a takedown but Heimo shows good takedown defense.
Heimo appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Vuce shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Heimo as he jumps to the side.
Heimo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vuce gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Heimo blocks an elbow strike.
Vuce jumps guard and drags Heimo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Heimo won't allow Vuce to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heimo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Vuce keeping full guard, as Heimo tries to pass.

Heimo is pushing down on Vuce's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vuce is fighting to maintain full guard but Heimo has managed to sneak the leg through.
Heimo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Heimo wants to pass the guard but Vuce is defending well.

Vuce is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Vuce is looking to escape.
Vuce makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Vuce tries to clinch up but Heimo circles away and keeps his distance.
Vuce drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vuce has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Heimo connects with a leg kick.
Heimo loads up on a big right hand but Vuce slips the punch.
Heimo misses with a left hand
and Vuce counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vuce misses with a takedown attempt - Heimo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Aleksi Heimo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Vuce.

Vuce closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Heimo to the mat! Heimo manages to get full guard.
Vuce throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Heimo is pulling down on Vuce's head. It's preventing any offense from Vuce, at least for the moment.
Vuce working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Vuce postures up in Heimo's guard and throws a big left but Heimo blocks it.
Heimo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Vuce throws a big elbow that misses.
Heimo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vuce is one step ahead there.
Heimo is looking to stand up but Vuce isn't so interested in that idea.
Vuce postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Vuce postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Vuce makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Heimo is rocked!
Vuce arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Heimo's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
