Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Slugger (ranked 1924 p4p, 1468 weight class) and Drew Barnes (ranked 217 p4p, 167 weight class). Slugger comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Barnes's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Barnes is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Barnes gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Barnes gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Barnes apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and Slugger counters with a good, hard body kick but Barnes shrugs it off.

and Slugger counters with a crisp one two that drops Barnes! Slugger thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Barnes to his feet! Barnes is in big trouble!

Barnes walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Barnes limp body while Slugger jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lou Slugger!
Lou Slugger bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
