Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arlo Cash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Meguru Takayanagi! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takayanagi tries to keep at a distance but Cash has taken the fight into the clinch. Cash is trying to pull guard but Takayanagi has him pressed against the cage. Cash tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Takayanagi smiles and moves away.
Cash tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Takayanagi unleashes a big counter combination but Cash bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Cash tries to clinch but Takayanagi moves out of range. Cash has closed the distance and engaged Takayanagi in a clinch.
Cash is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Takayanagi to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arlo Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cash fails to pull guard.

Arlo Cash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takayanagi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cash pushes Takayanagi up against the cage in a clinch. Takayanagi has had enough of the clinch but Cash keeps him there for the moment. Takayanagi closes the distance and lands a one-two. Takayanagi scores with a one two! Cash had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Cash is rocked! Cash fails in his attempt to clinch. Oh Cash is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cash gets a clinch. Cash fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cash jumps guard but Takayanagi stands there with Cash around his waist. Cash gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cash seems to have got his legs back now. Cash manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Takayanagi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cash has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Takayanagi has managed to get both his arms back between Cash's legs - danger averted. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cash tries to land a sweep but no joy. Takayanagi wants to stand but Cash has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Takayanagi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Takayanagi is sitting in close to Cash's body. Cash has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Takayanagi is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Takayanagi is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cash.
