Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Rosa (ranked 601 p4p, 397 weight class) and Joseph Stalinovich (ranked 92 p4p, 58 weight class). Stalinovich has chosen Hell March as his entrance music. Henrique Rosa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henrique Rosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joseph Stalinovich!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalinovich throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A lazy left from Rosa finds it's target.
Rosa looks to score with a jab to the body but Stalinovich is just out of range.
Rosa throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Rosa throws a looping overhand right but Stalinovich ducks down to avoid it.
Rosa misses with a double jab
and Stalinovich counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Henrique Rosa has been cut.

Rosa rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Stalinovich makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rosa throws a push kick but Stalinovich slaps the foot to one side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I was talking to Rosa's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Stalinovich takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stalinovich misses with a kick to the body.
As Stalinovich backs away, Rosa returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Stalinovich doesn't manage to clinch there - Rosa circles away.

Rosa throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Rosa misses with a hook. Stalinovich ducked under it nicely.
Stalinovich appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Stalinovich slips under a jab.
It seemed like Stalinovich was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Stalinovich throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rosa.
It looked like Rosa was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Stalinovich.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Henrique Rosa will probably get the nod.
