Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pee Wee Sasaki (ranked 709 p4p, 931 weight class) and Michael Bostic (ranked 39 p4p, 54 weight class). Bostic has chosen Move as his entrance music. Pee Wee Sasaki could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael Bostic's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pee Wee Sasaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Bostic! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bostic connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bostic blocks a jab. Bostic moves out of range as Sasaki strikes. Bostic looks like he wants to counter punch here. Sasaki lands a high kick!
Sasaki lands a body shot.
A big left from Sasaki misses. Bostic throws a body kick that misses. Sasaki stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bostic. Bostic moves out of range as Sasaki strikes. Bostic looks to score with a jab to the body but Sasaki is just out of range. A nice inside leg kick there by Sasaki. That's going to slow Bostic down. Bostic moves out of range of the leg kick from Sasaki. Bostic follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Bostic's coach down at Rabid Dog was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bostic's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Bostic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pee Wee Sasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A cross from Sasaki lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bostic looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Bostic changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bostic throws a body kick that misses. Sasaki is looking to counter punch. Sasaki fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bostic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sasaki is pressing down on Bostic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sasaki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bostic trying to control but Sasaki is working from the bottom. Sasaki is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've been hearing good reports from Sasaki's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Bostic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sasaki is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bostic trying to control but Sasaki is working from the bottom. Bostic throwing strikes but missing. Bostic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sasaki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sasaki is controlling Bostic's posture. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bostic trying to control the position from guard on top but Sasaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bostic throws a series of punches but Sasaki moves out of range. Oooooh!!! Sasaki has knocked Bostic down with a huge combo! Sasaki steps away and waves a wobbly Bostic back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Bostic is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sasaki cracks Bostic with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
