Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ingo Szopa (ranked 1711 p4p, 3687 weight class) and Kevin Jensen (ranked 235 p4p, 467 weight class). Kevin Jensen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ingo Szopa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Jensen!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen lands the left hand.
Jensen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jensen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Szopa takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've been told by Szopa's head coaches at Bronk´s GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jensen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Szopa.
Szopa just misses with a punch to the body.
Szopa looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jensen is looking for a sweep. Szopa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jensen flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Szopa lands a nice short elbow.
Jensen won't allow Szopa to pass to mount.
Szopa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Szopa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Szopa looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jensen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Szopa is nestled in close to Jensen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Szopa moves into full mount! Jensen won't be happy about that!
Szopa postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jensen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jensen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ingo Szopa!
Ingo Szopa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Kevin Jensen was interviewed post fight and said 'congrats to my opponent. I'll work harder and be back stronger next time.'.
