Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Wood (ranked 1650 p4p, 1746 weight class) and Putte Ro (ranked 93 p4p, 100 weight class). Wood comes to the cage accompanied by Many Men - 50 Cent. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Wood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Putte Ro! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood catches Ro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Ro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wood is trying to defend but Ro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wood slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ro sitting in guard, not really doing much. Wood wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ro is now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ro is thwarting Wood's attempts to control the position. Wood is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Ro is trying to control. Wood wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ro tries to pass the half guard into mount. Wood knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Wood is refusing to be controlled, as Ro sits in half guard. Ro is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wood looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wood is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ro pulls his head out easily. Ro wants to control but Wood is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wood is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wood looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ro is thwarting Wood's attempts to control the position. Ro is controlling the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ro changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wood looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wood tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wood wants to control but Ro postures up. Wood is positioning himself to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Wood's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wood is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Ro is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wood tries to hold on but Ro postures up. Wood tries to reverse the position but Ro maintains control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wood wants to get back to full guard but Ro has mounted him! Putte Ro has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Ro has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wood regains full guard. Nicely done.

Wood tries to buck Ro off but Ro is having none of it. Ro is looking to take a break and control but Wood is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Wood closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ro tries to get back to half guard but can't. You can see the frustration on Ro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Putte Ro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are battling for position here. Wood manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ro controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ro looking to pass the guard. Wood bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ro's guard. Wood missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ro controls Wood momentarily but Wood frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wood tries to free his leg and advance position but Ro is retaining full guard. Wood is fighting to break Ro's control of his arms but Ro is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Ro avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ro controlling Wood's posture.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Horrible takedown attempt by Wood or perhaps it was just good defense by Ro, which made it look bad. Wood gets caught napping as Ro dives in and scores a takedown. Wood manages to retain guard. Ro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wood has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ro has managed to get both his arms back between Wood's legs - danger averted. Wood being controlled here, momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wood keeping full guard, as Ro tries to pass. Ro slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wood is looking to reverse the position. Ro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Putte Ro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ro has knee on belly and moves into mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Putte Ro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ro winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
