Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hakansson (ranked 1669 p4p, 2397 weight class) and Neil Parker (ranked 229 p4p, 304 weight class). Parker has chosen Bring Me The Horizon - Obey as his entrance music. Neil Parker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hakansson shoots in looking for a takedown. Parker tries to sprawl out of it but Hakansson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Hakansson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jack Hakansson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hakansson goes for a double leg but Parker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Parker continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Hakansson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hakansson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Parker napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parker pushes Hakansson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hakansson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Parker is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hakansson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee asks Hakansson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hakansson prefers to stall for the moment though.

Parker wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Hakansson drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Parker 's chin! Parker is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
