Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Picklesbly (ranked 703 p4p, 701 weight class) and Rounin Hashima (ranked 106 p4p, 105 weight class). Picklesbly comes to the cage accompanied by Angels in Heaven - Chris Rodrigues & the Spoon Lady. Adrian Picklesbly had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picklesbly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Hashima ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hashima bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Hashima stuns Picklesbly with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hashima fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Picklesbly.
Picklesbly lands a nice looking body shot.
Hashima jabs Picklesbly right on the nose. Picklesbly blinks but takes it well.
Picklesbly swings for the body but Hashima moves out of range.
Hashima lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Picklesbly throws a looping overhand right but Hashima ducks down to avoid it.

Picklesbly was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Donk. Hashima catches Picklesbly right on the button with a cross.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Picklesbly takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hashima moves away from the strike by Picklesbly.
Picklesbly stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hashima.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hashima shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Hashima lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Hashima is still on wobbly legs! Can Picklesbly finish him?

Hashima scores with a hook to the body. Picklesbly takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Picklesbly throws out a loose jab but Hashima uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hashima tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Picklesbly manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hashima gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Picklesbly gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
