Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Furioto (ranked 135 p4p, 343 weight class) and Mate Orsic (ranked 25 p4p, 51 weight class). Furioto comes to the cage accompanied by 韻踏合組合 - . Orsic has chosen KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja as his entrance music. Mate Orsic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maximus Furioto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mate Orsic!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsic fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Furioto looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Orsic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Furioto was covering up waiting for the punch and Orsic finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Orsic looking to sit in guard and control but Furioto gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Orsic is on top in guard.
Orsic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Orsic is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Orsic tries to free his leg and advance position but Furioto is retaining full guard.
Furioto has his foot on Orsic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Orsic works his way back into a safe position though.
Orsic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Orsic looking to improve position, pressing down on Furioto's thigh with his hand. Furioto seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Orsic paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Orsic's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Furioto picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Maximus Furioto!
