Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Iso Paa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Danger!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paa rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Danger counters with a crisp one two that drops Paa! Danger thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Paa to his feet! Paa is in big trouble!
Paa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Paa closes the distance and clinches.
Paa wants to take the fight to the mat but Danger manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Paa misses with the head strike.
Danger lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Paa lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Paa misses with a punch on the inside.
Paa gets control of Danger's arms and successfully pulls guard. Paa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Danger avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Danger passes Paa's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Paa is trying to get back to full guard.
Paa is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Danger jumps into side control!
Paa is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Danger's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Danger! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Paa has tapped! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Danny Danger!
After winning the bout, Danny Danger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
