The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ronaldo, as that shot connected.

Ronaldo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That kick from Ronaldo tenderised Christoph's leg. Christoph is trying to keep his angry face on.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Christoph jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ronaldo walks away with a smile on his face. Christoph gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ronaldo swings for the body but Christoph moves out of range.
The crowd cheers as Ronaldo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Christoph doesn't seem phased though.
Christoph throws a leg kick but Ronaldo moved away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
