Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crixus The Gaul (ranked 1360 p4p, 1707 weight class) and Tommy Weismuller (ranked 157 p4p, 186 weight class). Weismuller has chosen The Nosebleed Section by Hilltop Hoods as his entrance music. Tommy Weismuller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crixus The Gaul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy Weismuller! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Topper Green and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Gaul throws a lazy right hand but Weismuller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Weismuller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The Gaul sprawls well. The Gaul wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Weismuller gets slowly back to his feet. The Gaul throwing a counter right hand but Weismuller manages to avoid it. The Gaul throws a body punch but Weismuller moves out of range. The Gaul throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Weismuller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Weismuller has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. The Gaul pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Weismuller blocks a head kick by The Gaul.
The Gaul connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Tommy Weismuller has been cut. The Gaul throws a head kick but Weismuller moves out of range.
Weismuller lands a left and a right that send The Gaul crashing to the mat, dazed. Weismuller thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Crixus The Gaul has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Weismuller tries a head kick but it misses.
Weismuller looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The Gaul fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Weismuller connects with a body shot. The Gaul has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches) in the buildup to the fight. The Gaul gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Gaul is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Weismuller trying to control but The Gaul postures up.
Weismuller blocking the ground and pound attempt from The Gaul. Weismuller is looking to get back to is feet but The Gaul passes into side control.
The Gaul postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sloppy strikes there by The Gaul. Weismuller is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Gaul creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Weismuller sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Weismuller tries to improve position but can't. The Gaul with the ground and pound but Weismuller regains half guard under the barage of strikes. The Gaul wants to lay and pray for a moment but Weismuller keeps working. Weismuller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The Gaul will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Weismuller is concentrating on defense, preventing The Gaul from advancing position. The Gaul throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The Gaul sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Weismuller defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weismuller wants to stand back up but The Gaul manages to pass into side control.
Weismuller avoids any damage from the ground and pound of The Gaul. The Gaul is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Weismuller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The Gaul wants to lay and pray for a moment but Weismuller keeps working. Weismuller avoids any damage from the ground and pound of The Gaul. The Gaul tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Weismuller struggling a bit here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Crixus The Gaul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weismuller shoots in but no luck this time. Crixus The Gaul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Weismuller. No joy there for Weismuller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The Gaul lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Weismuller walks into a jab. The Gaul looks for a left high kick but can't connect. The Gaul backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Weismuller's temple! It sends Weismuller violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as The Gaul celebrates and the doctors try to help Weismuller!
