The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hale misses with a low kick.
Gordy is looking to clinch but Hale is avoiding it.
Gordy tries to clinch up but Hale circles away and keeps his distance.
Hale is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gordy.
Gordy wants to clinch up but Hale keeps it at a distance.
Hale swats away the attempt to clinch by Gordy.

Hale fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gordy, pushing him back against the cage.
Hale pushes off an throws an elbow but Gordy leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Hale scores with a nice hook to the head.
Gordy is trying to pull guard but Hale has him pressed against the cage.
Hale pushes Gordy back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hale lands with a left to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gordy is trying to pull guard but Hale turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

George Hale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terrence Gordy.
