Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mad Panda (ranked 5011 p4p, 5251 weight class) and Zane Raven (ranked 235 p4p, 241 weight class). Raven has chosen 300 Violin Orchestra - Jorge Quintero as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Panda.

Raven is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Panda trying to control the position but Raven is working away.
Raven is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Panda is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Raven knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Raven sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Raven slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Raven is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Panda has his hands clasped together but Raven extends and breaks Panda's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Raven.
