Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Newman (ranked 3229 p4p, 1426 weight class) and Julian Bashir (ranked 178 p4p, 90 weight class). Bashir has chosen Exodus - The Toxic Waltz as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Julian Bashir was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman closes the distance but Bashir moves to the side
and Bashir counters with a takedown into side control.
Bashir lands a decent elbow from side control.
Newman's coaches at Canadian Combat Academy have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bashir lands a few punches from side control.
Bashir in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Newman looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Bashir turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
