The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in and bounces Waterfall Jr off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Waterfall Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Waterfall Jr is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Waterfall Jr is keeping the position.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jones wants to control from the top but Waterfall Jr keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Waterfall Jr pushes a forearm under Jones's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jones is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
