Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Hamada (ranked 2175 p4p, 1142 weight class) and Adrian Rose (ranked 284 p4p, 164 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryo Hamada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adrian Rose!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Topper Green and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose lands a body shot.
Rose has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hamada misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hamada throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rose sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rose dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hamada. That did some damage!
Rose defending well as Hamada loads up on a big left hand.
Rose scores with a hook to the body. Hamada takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hamada moves out of range as Rose throws a body kick.
Hamada throws a right and a left that Rose avoids nicely.

Hamada takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rose tries to roll over but Hamada keeps him under control.
Rose wants to get back to full guard but Hamada has mounted him!
Hamada jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle�. Ooooh, that looks tight� Rose is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rose and Hamada has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Rose has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hamada is working away from the top position though.

Hamada thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hamada is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Rose reverses the position - he's now on top in Hamada's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rose controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hamada manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rose manages to get himself to full guard.
Rose wants to sweep here but Hamada controlling him for the moment.
Rose keeps trying to improve his position.

Rose wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Rose shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hamada eats them both and turns towards Rose to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Rose takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hamada looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Hamada manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rose on his heels. He'll look to pass Rose's guard now, I'm sure.
Hamada drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rose looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rose looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rose!

Adrian Rose comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Rose winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
