Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kollaa River (ranked 293 p4p, 177 weight class) and Charles Tucker (ranked 45 p4p, 24 weight class). Tucker has chosen Faith of The Heart as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kollaa River!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker moves away from the strike by River.
Tucker appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
River tries to work over Tucker's front leg with a kick but Tucker checks it.
Tucker gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

River looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

River closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tucker to the mat! Tucker manages to get full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as River accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

River has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tucker wants to take a breather but River manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Tucker.
Tucker throws an elbow that misses. River uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tucker's guard. Nice move by River!

River's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kollaa River showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for River, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
