PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sunshine Okafor (ranked 1058 p4p, 907 weight class) and Necmettin Hoca (ranked 148 p4p, 133 weight class). Okafor comes to the cage accompanied by Bliss. On his way into the cage it seems that Sunshine Okafor has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sunshine Okafor seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Okafor moves into the clinch.

Okafor drags the fight down to the ground.
Hoca wants to control from the top but Okafor keeps moving.

Okafor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hoca defends well.
Hoca really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Okafor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Okafor holds on and takes a little breather.
Hoca must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hoca avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Okafor is looking for a triangle but Hoca pushes his legs off easily.
