Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Norman Boma (ranked 181 p4p, 323 weight class) and Sparky Anderson (ranked 23 p4p, 37 weight class). Boma comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Bodies. Anderson has chosen Pick up man as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Boma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Anderson swings for the body but Boma moves out of range.
Boma was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Anderson tries to clinch but Boma is having none of it.

Anderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Boma's guard.

Boma has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Anderson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boma wants to hit a sweep here but Anderson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Boma there!

Anderson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Boma is now in Anderson's guard. A big mistake from Anderson there, giving up the dominant position!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
