The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ortega moves out of range as Cailean strikes.
Ortega tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Cailean lands an overhand right.
It looks like Emilio Ortega has been cut.
Ortega catches Cailean with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cailean darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ortega misses with a straight left.

Cailean swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ortega moves out of range of the strikes.
Ortega's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cailean under the eye.
Cailean lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ortega drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Cailean keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Cailean scores with a punch to the head.
Ortega is rocked!
Cailean lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ortega up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Cailean from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ortega's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
