Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, The Maan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maxim Ibragimov Ii!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maan scores with a jab to the body.
Ibragimov Ii tries for a takedown but Maan circles away easily
and Maan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ibragimov Ii fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ibragimov Ii is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ibragimov Ii dives in for a single leg takedown but Maan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It looked like Maan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The Maan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxim Ibragimov Ii.
Ibragimov Ii closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maan, as that shot connected.
Maan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Maan walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ibragimov Ii drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Maan swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ibragimov Ii's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Maan!
The Maan bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
