The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oliveira manages to avoid it.
Nice shot lands for Petrov.

It looks like Vincenzo Oliveira has been cut.
Oliveira moves out of range of the strikes.
Petrov tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Oliveira clobbers Petrov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Oliveira loads up on a big right hand but Petrov slips the punch.
Petrov throwing a counter right hand but Oliveira manages to avoid it.

Oliveira throws a body punch but Petrov moves out of range.
Petrov feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Petrov scores with a hook to the body. Oliveira takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Petrov lands a lovely overhand right.
Petrov slips a straight right by Oliveira.
Oliveira moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Oliveira misses with a looping left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oliveira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrov moves away.
It looked like Petrov was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Oliveira.
Petrov rushes Oliveira and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Oliveira is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Petrov piles on the pressure and Oliveira crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ivan Petrov decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
