Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Kahn (ranked 88 p4p, 128 weight class) and Larry Williams (ranked 16 p4p, 24 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kahn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to كارتل مدان. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Williams misses with a jab to the body
and Kahn counters with a nice body shot.
Kahn lands a really nice looking cross but Williams seems unphased.
Williams wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Williams misses with a hook
and Kahn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

enabling Kahn to counter with a crisp jab.
Williams misses with a lunging right hand
and Kahn counters with a crisp right hand that drops Williams! Kahn lets Williams back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Larry Williams has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kahn has time to react.

Larry Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kahn thows a leg kick but Williams checks it
and Williams counters with a nice uppercut.
Donk. Williams catches Kahn right on the button with a cross.

Kahn fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kahn throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Williams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kahn jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Williams shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kahn misses with a shot to the body
enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab.

and Kahn counters with a nice low kick that buckles Williams's knee momentarily.

letting Kahn counter with a right hand.

Williams fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kahn is out of range.
As Williams backs away, Kahn returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

and Kahn counters with a head kick that drops Williams to the mat! Williams scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Williams is rocked!
Williams rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kahn scores with a counter punch that sends Williams to the canvas! Kahn smells blood - he's punishing Williams with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Williams has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mohammed Kahn!
