Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Deane (ranked 922 p4p, 589 weight class) and Amri Mbeki (ranked 52 p4p, 32 weight class). Deane comes to the cage accompanied by Cinderella Man. Mbeki has chosen Where The Hood At as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calvin Deane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Amri Mbeki!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deane closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mbeki to the mat! Mbeki manages to get full guard.
Mbeki has his foot on Deane's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Deane works his way back into a safe position though.
Deane trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

We've been hearing that Deane has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Mbeki is looking for a triangle but Deane pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Deane throws an elbow that misses. Mbeki uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Deane's guard. Nice move by Mbeki!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mbeki swings around for an armbar but Deane sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mbeki's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Mbeki has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Gold Samurai's Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Deane and the ref steps in to end the fight! Deane can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

After winning the bout, Calvin Deane thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
