Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Custer (ranked 347 p4p, 392 weight class) and Maxim Ward (ranked 50 p4p, 55 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ward's choice of entrance music: ERA - Ameno. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Custer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Maxim Ward!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward moves away from the strike by Custer.
Ward throws a counter combo.
Ward throws a nice looking combination but Custer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Custer throws a nice outside leg kick.
Custer swings for the body but Ward moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ward darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ward lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ward tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Custer swivels and escapes.

It looks like Maxim Ward has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Custer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Horrible takedown attempt by Ward or perhaps it was just good defense by Custer, which made it look bad.
Ward is trying hard to land a takedown here. Custer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Custer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ward sprawling to the canvas! Ward rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Custer finish him?!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Custer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
