Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Gordy (ranked 2680 p4p, 3723 weight class) and Freaky Fred (ranked 231 p4p, 307 weight class). Freaky Fred has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freaky Fred!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordy tries to clinch but Fred is having none of it.
Fred throws a solid leg kick but Gordy takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Fred.
Gordy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fred swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gordy wants to clinch up but Fred keeps it at a distance.
Gordy tries to clinch there but Fred circles away.

Fred gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gordy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Gordy.
Gordy jumps guard but Fred stands there with Gordy around his waist. Gordy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fred working aggressively here.
Fred's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Fred gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fred wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gordy keeps working.

Fred seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Fred looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fred is trying to control. Gordy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Fred tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gordy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Fred keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fred works his foot free and advances to mount.
Gordy is looking to get to half guard.

Fred working for a guillotine from mount but Gordy is in no mood to give up.
Fred pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fred can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gordy is looking to escape.
Fred prevents Gordy from getting the reversal.

Fred has isolated one of Gordy's arms. Gordy looking to fight him off but Fred twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
