Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kittisak Saetang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Gabriel Soares!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saetang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Saetang takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A swing and a miss from Saetang.
Soares has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Saetang is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Soares throws a hook to the side of Saetang's head but Saetang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Soares misses with a straight right.
Saetang was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Soares pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Soares moves away from the strike by Saetang.
Soares is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soares takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Saetang fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Soares to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Soares looks to clinch but Saetang throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Soares taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Kittisak Saetang!
