Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Elwyn Donal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Mith!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mith jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Andre Mith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mith throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mith misses with a hook.
Donal ducks under a wild hook from Mith.
Donal misses with a hook. Mith ducked under it nicely.
And Mith tries to counter it with a takedown but Donal pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Mith misses with a lunging right hand
and Donal counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mith's knee momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donal buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mith misses with a takedown
and Donal counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Andre Mith has been cut.

and Donal counters with a stiff right hand.
Mith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mith checks a leg kick.
Donal feints and then cracks Mith's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mith down.
Mith misses with a straight right.
Donal appears to be looking for a big counter.
Crunch! Donal slams his shin into Mith's torso.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Donal sprawls well. Donal wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mith gets slowly back to his feet.
Elwyn Donal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Mith.
Donal misses with a hook.
A head kick misses from Mith.
Mith moves away from the strike by Donal.
Mith rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Donal counter with a right hand.

Mith throws a body punch but Donal moves out of range.
Mith throws a looping overhand right but Donal ducks down to avoid it.
Donal jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Mith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mith misses with a two punch combination.
Donal lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Donal counter with a right hand.
Mith cracks a nice hook into Donal's ribs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Donal dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mith. That did some damage!

Donal looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Mith misses with a lunging right hand
and Donal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Donal's head coaches at League of Shadows MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Donal is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Donal throws a good cross that connects.

That has opened up Andre Mith's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mith misses with a straight left.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A looping hook to the body misses from Donal. Mith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mith drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Donal defends it well.
A shot to the liver by Donal. Beautiful body shot.
Mith waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Donal.
Donal swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Mith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Donal moves away.
Donal is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mith can do to turn this around?

letting Mith counter with a right hand.

Mith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mith lands with a good body shot.

Donal cracks Mith with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Donal waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mith.
Mith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Donal.

and Donal counters with an outside leg kick.
Mith digs a good hook to Donal's body.
Mith throws a series of punches but Donal moves out of range.

Donal throws a body kick that misses.
Mith swings for the body but Donal moves out of range.
Mith throws a sloppy body shot
and Donal counters with a nice body kick.
Mith is breathing heavily.
Mith swings for the body but Donal moves out of range.
Donal bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mith's head.
Mith misses with a takedown
and Donal counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mith's knee momentarily.

Donal lands a jab to the head.
Elwyn Donal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mith missing with a left hand there. Donal was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Donal cracks Mith on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mith falls backwards against the cage. Donal follows up with more strikes that drop Mith to his knees. Donal keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mith! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elwyn Donal!
Elwyn Donal decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
