And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Blikstein!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Den Born looks to throw the jab but Blikstein is out of range.

Blikstein slips a nice elbow through Van Den Born's hands, connecting with Van Den Born's forehead.
Van Den Born has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Blikstein is working away from the top position though.
Van Den Born is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Blikstein takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Blikstein thows a huge punch but Van Den Born dodges it nicely.

Van Den Born wants to stand up but Blikstein is controlling him.

and Blikstein counters with a nice right hand that sends Van Den Born toppling to the canvas! Van Den Born scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Blikstein finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Van Den Born looks to land a right hand but Blikstein moved out of range.

Oh Van Den Born is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Van Den Born buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Van Den Born lands with a thumping leg kick.
Blikstein throws a pinpoint strike between Van Den Born's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Van Den Born crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Blikstein scores a great knockout victory!
