Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Summa Sector (ranked 202 p4p, 288 weight class) and Kenny Smith (ranked 30 p4p, 44 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sector might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. Smith has chosen IS THIS LOVE as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Summa Sector!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Smith!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sector takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sector throws a lazy uppercut
and Smith counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sector rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Smith counters with a good low kick that Sector was not able to check.
Summa Sector seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sector throws a body kick that misses
and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sector throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Smith connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Sector tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A decent looking cross lands there for Sector.
A nice inside leg kick there by Smith. That's going to slow Sector down.
Smith scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sector takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It appears Sector was looking to counter with a kick there.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Sector might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
That kick from Smith tenderised Sector's leg. Sector is trying to keep his angry face on.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
