Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Sanchez (ranked 3487 p4p, 2598 weight class) and Coyote Wolf (ranked 476 p4p, 378 weight class). Sanchez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Duele El Carazon. Coyote Wolf told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coyote Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Wolf.
Wolf tries to bum rush Sanchez with a series of wild strikes but Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wolf moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Jesus Sanchez has been cut.
Sanchez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sanchez has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wolf clobbers Sanchez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wolf fails to land with a series of punches.
Sanchez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sanchez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Wolf keeps moving.
Sanchez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Wolf looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sanchez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sanchez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wolf is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Wolf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wolf is squirming around, avoiding Sanchez's attempts to control the action.
Sanchez moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wolf has worked his arm free - good work by Wolf!
Sanchez wants to control but Wolf is keeping him busy.

Sanchez tries to advance to mount but can't.
Sanchez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sanchez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanchez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sanchez has hold of Wolf's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Wolf tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sanchez cranks the arm and Wolf screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Wolf, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jesus Sanchez!
Jesus Sanchez bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
