The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Gaspar.
Krakowski has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Krakowski misses with a left hand
and Gaspar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gaspar throws a push kick but Krakowski slaps the foot to one side.
Krakowski attempts a counter takedown but Gaspar avoids it well and moves away.
Krakowski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Bernard Krakowski has been cut.
Gaspar gets in close and instigates a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gaspar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Krakowski is trying to control. Gaspar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Krakowski is just content to waste time from the top position. Gaspar takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
