Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lusmu Kutvonen (ranked 110 p4p, 281 weight class) and Heismann Haa (ranked 7 p4p, 21 weight class). Haa has chosen Her kommer Heismann Hå as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Lusmu Kutvonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Heismann Haa!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kutvonen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Haa counters with a nice leg kick.
Haa lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Haa moves away from the strike by Kutvonen.
Jab, jab by Haa - just one landing.
Lusmu Kutvonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kutvonen misses with a wild combination.
Kutvonen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haa.
Kutvonen lands with a cross.

Kutvonen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kutvonen is on top in guard.

Haa jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Haa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kutvonen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Kutvonen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haa's waist but Haa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kutvonen off to one side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kutvonen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Haa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We've been hearing good reports from Kutvonen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Haa is fighting to break Kutvonen's control of his arms but Kutvonen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kutvonen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Haa enables Kutvonen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Haa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Haa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kutvonen's guard.

Kutvonen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kutvonen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Haa for as long as he can get away with.
