Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kree P Krawlee (ranked 687 p4p, 557 weight class) and Damian Tonon (ranked 106 p4p, 81 weight class). Krawlee comes to the cage accompanied by Sail. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kree P Krawlee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damian Tonon! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krawlee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tonon. Tonon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Krawlee to the ground. Tonon is now in Krawlee's guard. Tonon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. My spies in Gym inform me that Tonon has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Krawlee looking to control.
Krawlee is pulling down on Tonon's head. It's preventing any offense from Tonon, at least for the moment. Tonon trying to control but Krawlee is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tonon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Krawlee, as that shot connected.
Tonon wants to clinch up but Krawlee keeps it at a distance. Tonon shoots in and bounces Krawlee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Tonon passes Krawlee's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krawlee controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Tonon stalling. Krawlee works his way to full guard. Good work. Tonon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tonon's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Krawlee looking to control.
Tonon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tonon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Krawlee is keeping the position for now. Krawlee looking for a sweep. Not yet Krawlee, not yet. Krawlee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Tonon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tonon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Krawlee is trying to defend but Tonon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krawlee wants to improve his position but Tonon is controlling well.
Krawlee pushes Tonon off looking to stand but Tonon dives back in and keeps control.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tonon works his foot free and advances to mount. Tonon looking to control but Krawlee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Tonon dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Krawlee misses with a straight left. Tonon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Nice uppercut lands for Tonon. That snapped Krawlee's head back.
Tonon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Tonon wants to control but Krawlee is keeping him busy. Tonon is thwarting Krawlee's attempts to control the position. Damian Tonon has got the better of the ground game so far. Tonon is working for a kimura but Krawlee is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krawlee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tonon is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tonon performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Krawlee trying to hold on to Tonon's head to control him but Tonon postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Krawlee tests Tonon's chin there with a solid looking shot. Krawlee looks to throw the jab but Tonon is out of range. Tonon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Krawlee on his heels. He'll look to pass Krawlee's guard now, I'm sure. Krawlee manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krawlee prevents a takedown attempt there.
Krawlee has had enough of the clinch but Tonon keeps him there for the moment. Krawlee tries to break free but Tonon pushes him back against the cage. Krawlee is trying to break the clinch but Tonon has him pressed against the cage. Krawlee wants to break free but Tonon has control.
Krawlee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tonon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Krawlee sprawls well. Krawlee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tonon gets slowly back to his feet. Tonon gets a double leg takedown into Krawlee's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tonon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Tonon looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tonon forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still in half guard, Tonon seems content to control. Tonon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Krawlee is trying to control but can't.
Tonon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Tonon throwing shots but Krawlee is blocking nicely. Krawlee is holding on to half guard well. Tonon content to control rather than advance. Krawlee is trying to maintain the position but Tonon is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tonon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Krawlee scores with a takedown into Tonon's guard. Krawlee wants to pass the guard but Tonon is keeping the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Damian Tonon will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Tonon takes one to the chin there. Tonon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. The fighters circling - Tonon throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tonon slips a straight right by Krawlee. Krawlee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Krawlee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tonon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Krawlee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tonon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Krawlee quickly recovers to half guard. Tonon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tonon wants to control the pace but Krawlee is squirming around nicely. Krawlee is trying desperately to improve position. Tonon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Krawlee can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tonon content just to control the position here. Tonon looking to control but Krawlee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tonon controlling the position easily from mount. Krawlee is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kree P Krawlee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tonon fails to take his opponent's back. Tonon content just to control the position here. Tonon tries to control but Krawlee wriggling away. Krawlee is looking to get to half guard. Tonon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Krawlee's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tonon looking to ground and pound but Krawlee is blocking nicely. Krawlee manages to regain half guard. Good work. Tonon is figuring out what he wants to do next. Damian Tonon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Tonon wants to pass the guard but Krawlee is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Krawlee flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Well, if Tonon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kree P Krawlee. I think Tonon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
