Hurst comes into the arena with Keep Their Heads Ringin' blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamil Hurst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Raja Khanna!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khanna moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nice straight punches there by Khanna. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Khanna.
Hurst drops his hands momentarily and Khanna takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Khanna looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hurst looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Khanna misses with a kick to the body

and Hurst decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Khanna's guard.
Hurst is working Khanna over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Khanna is trying to control the position but Hurst postures up.

Hurst drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hurst jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hurst working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Our spies down at at Hammer House of Horror inform us that Khanna has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hurst is posturing up here but Khanna has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hurst tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hurst has to tap! Slick submission there by Khanna!
