Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ed Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dennis Rader!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a wild body kick that Rader sees coming a mile off.
Rader throws a leg kick but Jones moved away.
Rader tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rader.
Rader throws a head kick that misses.
Jones throws a quick counter head kick but Rader was just out of range.

Jones throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Rader stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Jones follows into mount!

It looks like Dennis Rader has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones looking to control and managing it successfully.
Rader tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rader is looking to get to half guard.

Rader tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.
Jones controlling the position easily from mount.

Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Rader wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away.

Rader is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rader is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jones is thwarting Rader's attempts to control the position.
Jones passes the guard and advances to mount!

Rader is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rader wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rader misses with a body shot.
Rader looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Jones is looking to counter the offense by Rader and move into the clinch.
Jab, jab by Rader - just one landing.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rader paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Rader circles away.
Rader takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rader swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones misses with an uppercut.
Rader misses with a looping left.
Rader pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jones works the jab nicely.
Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rader can do to turn this around?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rader swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones.

It looks like Ed Jones has been cut.
Rader throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jones is looking to clinch.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Rader ducks down to avoid it.
Rader blocks a head kick by Jones.
Rader throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.

Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rader.
Ed Jones is winning the standup battle so far.
Rader blocks a jab.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Rader avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jones throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rader throws a sloppy body shot
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Rader was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Rader's head but Rader sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rader moves away from the strike by Jones.
Rader misses with a head kick.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rader throws a nice inside leg kick.
A jab from Jones misses.
Rader rushes Jones with punches - Jones moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Jones goes down! Rader follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennis Rader!
An out of breath Dennis Rader thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
