Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Cubbedge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ed Jones!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cubbedge cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Ed Jones has been cut.
Cubbedge bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jones's head backwards.
Jones jabs at Cubbedge's body.
Jones works the jab nicely.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cubbedge slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jones scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Billy Cubbedge has been cut.
Jones lands with a good body shot.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick
and Cubbedge counters with a right hand to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cubbedge avoids the body shot from Jones.
Jones listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Cubbedge slips a jab from Jones.
Cubbedge takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cubbedge lands a big right hand that sends Jones crashing to the mat! Cubbedge stays standing though and waves Jones back to his feet!
Jones is rocked!
Cubbedge circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cubbedge counters with a right hand from hell and Jones is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Billy Cubbedge!
