Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alika Hakekia (ranked 765 p4p, 410 weight class) and Buzz Killer (ranked 116 p4p, 62 weight class). Hakekia kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nation Of Violence . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 20 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Alika Hakekia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buzz Killer! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer closes the distance and clinches. Killer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hakekia.
Hakekia drops down looking for an ankle pick but Killer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Killer lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Alika Hakekia has been cut. Killer fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer wants to clinch up but Hakekia keeps it at a distance. Killer moves out of range as Hakekia throws a body kick.
A little jabbing left from Killer on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Killer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hakekia paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hakekia throws a quick counter head kick but Killer was just out of range. Killer moves into the clinch.

Hakekia moves out of range of the strikes. Buzz Killer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hakekia with a poor takedown and Killer counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alika Hakekia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice defenses there by Hakekia. Hakekia swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hakekia closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Killer's guard. Killer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Hakekia looking to sit in guard and control but Killer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hakekia pulls Killer in to control the position. Hakekia continues to stall.

Hakekia seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Killer scores with a nice strike. Nice sprawl there from Killer as Hakekia shoots in. Killer misses with a hook to the body

Killer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Hakekia is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Killer misses with the head strike.

Buzz Killer dominated that round. The cut man is working on Alika Hakekia's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Killer looks to land a left hand but Hakekia moved out of range nicely. Killer pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hakekia takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hakekia blocks a jab. Hakekia went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Danga de danga de dang - Hakekia scores with a four punch combination! Hakekia fails with the takedown. Killer lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Killer closes the distance and pushes Hakekia back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Killer misses with some punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hakekia working some nice short punches in the clinch. Killer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A telegraphed right hand from Killer misses the target. Hakekia slips under a jab from Killer. As Killer looks to move away, Hakekia throws a big counter combo but Killer just gets out of the way. and Hakekia counters with a left and a right that stings Killer. Buzz Killer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Killer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hakekia. Killer misses with a hook to the body
and Hakekia finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killer swings and misses with a shot to the body and Hakekia counters with an outside leg kick.
Hakekia misses with a wild body shot. A combination from Hakekia does no damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hakekia throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Killer's head. Hakekia misses with a jab, cross combination.
Despite the aggression on Killer's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Hakekia gets a takedown into half guard. Hakekia thows a huge punch but Killer dodges it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hakekia sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Killer defending well though. Hakekia not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hakekia is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Killer reverses the position - he's now on top in Hakekia's guard. Hakekia is pulling down on Killer's head to control his posture. Killer preventing the sweep. Killer wants to pass the guard but Hakekia is keeping the position. Killer being controlled here momentarily. Alika Hakekia overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hakekia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Killer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A big right from Killer misses. Hakekia defending well as Killer loads up on a big left hand. A looping hook to the body misses from Hakekia. Killer does a little dance to reset his feet. Killer throws a looping overhand right but Hakekia ducks down to avoid it. Killer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Killer tries to clinch but Hakekia is having none of it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Alika Hakekia will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Alika Hakekia's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Hakekia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Killer avoids it really well and circles away. Hakekia avoids a punch combination nicely.

Hakekia connects with a body shot that sends Killer's belly button to the back. Hakekia fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Killer. Killer throws the left hand but Hakekia avoids the punch easily. Hakekia throws a big counter combination but Killer scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Hakekia shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hakekia lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hakekia stalling away here and it's allowed Killer to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Killer can do anything to dispel that myth. Hakekia trying to control the position from guard on top but Killer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hakekia throws a big right hand that misses. That's three minutes gone in the round. Hakekia sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Killer is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Killer wants to get back to his feet but Hakekia drags him back down. Hakekia has knee on belly and moves into mount. Killer holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hakekia tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Hakekia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Killer avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hakekia.

Hakekia looking to ground and pound but Killer is blocking nicely. Hakekia thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Hakekia is in the full mount, landing strikes. Killer felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Killer is bucking up trying to escape but Hakekia cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Hakekia trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hakekia unloads with some shots from mount but Killer bucks and avoids them well.
And that's the end of the fight! Alika Hakekia showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hakekia has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
