The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devereaux is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Devereaux got a little sloppy there for a moment and Banjo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Devereaux has managed to get both his arms back between Banjo's legs - danger averted.

Banjo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Devereaux uses it to pass to side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Devereaux has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
