Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Abner (ranked 349 p4p, 246 weight class) and Alborz Mumu (ranked 49 p4p, 38 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alborz Mumu!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mumu tries to land a front kick but Abner steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Abner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little jabbing left from Mumu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mumu throws a lazy uppercut
and Abner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mumu scores with a jab to the head.
We've been informed that Mumu has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Abner misses the shot to the body.
Abner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mumu shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Abner eats them both and turns towards Mumu to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Beau Abner has been cut.
Abner throws a body punch but Mumu moves out of range.
Mumu throws out a counter right but Abner avoids it with no problem.
Abner looks to score with a jab to the body but Mumu is just out of range.
As Abner backs off Mumu throws a huge counter combo but Abner manages to avoid it all.
Abner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mumu.

Abner throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mumu counters with a nice uppercut.

Mumu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Abner.
Mumu takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Abner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Abner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Abner looks to land a right hand but Mumu moved out of range.
Mumu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Mumu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Abner loads up on a big right hand but Mumu slips the punch.
Nice defenses there by Mumu.

Abner lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mumu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Mumu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Abner scores with a sloppy right hand. Mumu should have avoided that one.
Abner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mumu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And Mumu responds with a good body kick, but Abner manages to step out the way in time.
Abner just misses with a punch to the body.
Mumu fails to land with a series of punches.
Abner misses with a body shot.
A jab from Abner does it's job there.
Beau Abner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abner gets in close and tags Mumu with a short punch that almost sends Mumu to the mat! Oh Mumu is in big trouble! He turns his back on Abner, trying to create some distance but Abner rushes him, striking wildly and Mumu goes down! The referee tackles Abner into the cage to end the fight! Abner is one violent man!
