And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kohinata Minoru Ii!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger scores with a sloppy right hand. Minoru Ii should have avoided that one.
Burger misses the shot to the body.
Burger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Burger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Burger rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Minoru Ii rattles Burger with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Burger tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Minoru Ii dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Burger stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kohinata Minoru Ii!
After winning the bout, Kohinata Minoru Ii thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
