Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jason Hightower!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ihantala feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hightowers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hightower moves out of range of the body kick from Ihantala.
Hightower steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Ihantala scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hightower pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hightower throws a hook but Ihantala blocks it.
Ihantala tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hightower manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hightower moves out of range of the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hightower connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ihantala's hands.
Ihantala connects with an inside leg kick.

Hightower goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hightower. Ihantala shrugs it off though.
Nice uppercut lands for Hightower. That snapped Ihantala's head back.
Ihantala misses with an uppercut. Hightower saw that one coming.
Ihantala misses with a straight left.
Hightower is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Ihantala has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ihantala pushes Hightower up against the cage in a clinch.
Ihantala lands an uppercut.

A nice left hand lands by Hightower.
Still in the clinch, Ihantala scores with a nice short uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ihantala pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ihantala misses with a body shot

and Hightower counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ihantala! Hightower lets Ihantala back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Tali Ihantala has been cut.
Ihantala throws a hook but Hightower blocks it.
Hightower looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hightower throws a head kick that misses
and Ihantala counters with a straight right hand.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ihantala.

Hightower sends Ihantala crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hightower is motioning to the referee to let Ihantala up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Hightower ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Ihantala out cold! The fight is over!
