Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryszard Wojcik (ranked 545 p4p, 250 weight class) and Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. (ranked 92 p4p, 41 weight class). Thibodeaux Jr. has chosen Rags2Riches as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryszard Wojcik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wojcik takes a swing at Thibodeaux Jr.'s ribcage but misses.
Wojcik rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Ryszard Wojcik has been cut.
Thibodeaux Jr. takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Thibodeaux Jr. ducks under a wild hook from Wojcik.
A little jabbing left from Thibodeaux Jr. on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
The fighters circling - Thibodeaux Jr. throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thibodeaux Jr. throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wojcik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thibodeaux Jr. sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A nice side step and Thibodeaux Jr. releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

It seemed like Thibodeaux Jr. was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Thibodeaux Jr. let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wojcik misses with a lunging right hand
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wojcik! Thibodeaux Jr. lets Wojcik back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ryszard Wojcik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wojcik tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Thibodeaux Jr. paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A countering left hand to the body from Thibodeaux Jr. misses.
Wojcik throws the left hand but Thibodeaux Jr. avoids the punch easily.
Thibodeaux Jr. was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Wojcik throws out a loose jab but Thibodeaux Jr. uses good head movement to avoid it.
Thibodeaux Jr. now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wojcik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thibodeaux Jr..
Thibodeaux Jr. feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wojcik sprawling to the canvas! Wojcik rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thibodeaux Jr. finish him?!
Wojcik is rocked!
Ryszard Wojcik's cut is getting worse.
Thibodeaux Jr. takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oh Wojcik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thibodeaux Jr. is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Wojcik flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Wojcik is out cold! Thibodeaux Jr. holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
After the fight, Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
