PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tiesahn Colombo (ranked 3083 p4p, 25713 weight class) and Yaroslav Borkechev (ranked 364 p4p, 520 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tiesahn Colombo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tiesahn Colombo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yaroslav Borkechev!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Borkechev fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Colombo to the ground. Borkechev is now in Colombo's guard.

Borkechev avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Colombo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Borkechev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Borkechev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Colombo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Borkechev doesn't defend quickly enough and Colombo has managed to lock this one up! Can Borkechev escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Colombo on a fantastic submission victory.

A less than humble Tiesahn Colombo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
