Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Coppola (ranked 2265 p4p, 2431 weight class) and Jonny Picogram (ranked 336 p4p, 358 weight class). Coppola comes to the cage accompanied by Duality. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picogram throws a body punch but Coppola moves out of range.
Coppola swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Coppola fails with an attempt to clinch.
Coppola shoots for a double leg takedown but Picogram sprawls well. He's pushed Coppola's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A low kick from Picogram is predictable there
letting Coppola counter with a right hand.
Coppola takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Coppola tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Picogram manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Coppola takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Picogram throws the left hand but Coppola avoids the punch easily.
Coppola swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Picogram cracks Coppola with an open hand slap.
Coppola throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Picogram's waist but Picogram gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coppola off to one side.
It seemed like Picogram was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Picogram is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Coppola had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Picogram throws a pinpoint strike between Coppola's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Coppola crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Picogram scores a great knockout victory!

In his post fight interview, Jonny Picogram started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
