Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergej Kersikov (ranked 298 p4p, 194 weight class) and Kwasi Kwong (ranked 47 p4p, 30 weight class). Kersikov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Re-Style - I'm Alive. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

With a record of 22 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kwasi Kwong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Kwong 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kwong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kersikov manages to avoid it.
Kersikov avoids the body shot from Kwong.
Kersikov tries to score with a low kick but Kwong moves his leg out of the way.
Kwong punishes Kersikov's body with a nice straight punch.
Kersikov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Kersikov might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kwong lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kersikov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kersikov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
